Personal Fitness Trainer
Amika Ryan is an athlete, coach, and world traveler with a lifelong dedication to dirt and sweat. She is an avid backpacker, rock climber, SCUBA diver, and competitive swimmer. Amika’s interest in the world has lead her to live and travel all over North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
When a rider has an imbalance the horse will compensate. Imbalance in a rider can be caused from any number of things, such as tight or weak muscles, past injury, and structural malalignment, and can create imbalance in the horse. Her life’s passion is seeded in strengthening the bond between human and horse. Amika brings more than fifteen years of experience as an equestrian athlete and leads the athletic industry in creating specialized conditioning programs for the equestrian athlete. She combines unique experiences and credentials to nurture synergy creating greater balance, strength, and power.
Amika earned her Masters Degree in Hospitality Management & Marketing from Les Roches School of Hotel Management in Switzerland. She graduated at the top of her class at Apollo College with her certificate as a Fitness Technician and received her coaching credential as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
